Symbiotic scan - Emma Westenberg
People & Roles: I am often the leader in groups, due to my outspoken nature and positive attitude. I keep oversight on most work, therefore making me understand what has been done and what is still left to do.
Purpose: It is our duty as international students to give back to the community that helps us grow
Values: Teamwork, friendship, work ethic, compassion, empathy
Rules & Action Points: Respond to WhatsApp within 24 hours
Weaknesses & Risks: I am quite busy with all my extracurriculars so meetings will need to be scheduled ahead
Strengths & Potentials: Being busy translates into being able to make time when it matters. Therefore, for an Honours project like this one, I know that I need to be there for my teammates.
Needs & Expectations: Whenever I do anything, I want it to serve a greater purpose. In the same way, for this project, I hope that our findings extend beyond the classroom and into society - for positive change.
For the others sections, I unfortunately am not able to read their titles not the sections written by my teammates as I was absent for the session where the board was completed. With all of the points they wrote, I hope to serve as a trustworthy member of the team.

DIFFERENT FUTURES AT STAKE FOR ROFFA
PROPOSTEROUS (i.e. "impossible", "won't ever happen"): Thanks to our initiative, students have begun forming a network centered around the principles of the circular economy, facilitating sharing and connection. The community of Kralingen has embraced this communal event as a biannual recurrence, and the concept has since proliferated to other neighborhoods in Rotterdam. Inspired by the insights gleaned from the auction, individuals are motivated to adopt more sustainable practices in their daily lives.
PLAUSIBLE (i.e. could happen, current knowledge): People are reducing their consumption habits by buying items they need, but they are not seeking to find the most sustainable option when buying. Rotterdamers, busy with their day-to-day life, do not find time to be look for the more sustainable option.

PREFERABLE ("want to happen", "should happen"): Neighbours constantly talk to each other on how they can provide each other with materials. A community built on the circular economy is created and developed. Sharing becomes the new normal.
